I sat down to write him a letter tonight and I couldn't stop crying.

Okay so yes I'm pregnant, but seriously! I will share a little of what I wrote.

Ryan,
I just wanted to let you know how much you mean to me! I love you! I love everything about you, even the stinky you! Okay, maybe not after you eat certain things, but it always makes me laugh! I love that you are mine forever! I love that you work so hard for our family! I love that you love our son! I love that you play with him and make him laugh! I love that I can talk to you about anything! I love that I can count on you! But most of all I just love you! You mean the world to me! You make me so happy! I couldn't imagine a better life!

How could I not cry! I love this man and am so blessed to have him as a husband!

I just wanted to share to the whole world how grateful I am to have this man in my life!

Everything he does he does for our family. He is so kind, loving, and patient with our son. He works so hard so I can be at home with Rodney, and so we can have a decent life. I just wanted to say I appreciate all that you do for us Ryan, all the overtime you put in, and the work you do around here. Thanks for being patient with me and helping me while I have been sick! I love you so much! Wish we could be back in Alaska hiking again to give you a break. Someday! :)

We tried something new for dinner. Its not actually anything out of the ordinary I just combined two of our favorite dishes together, chicken and zucchini. First I cooked the chicken then I put some olive oil in a hot pan added onions, peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini, fried it till it was soft.

The picture doesn't do it justice! It was sooooo good! Even Rodney wanted seconds.

Sorry no pictures this time, but I have a lot to say. For Christmas we went down to utah and had so much fun with family. It was so nice to see my family including my Mimi and Papa, Rodney's great grandparents, and my aunt, uncle, and cousins. Then we came home from Utah and my sister came up here to Jerome. It was so nice to have her up her. She has helped keep me sane and helped a lot around the house. I appreciate her more than she will ever know. On friday she was able to go to my doctors appointment with me to hear the baby's heartbeat. It is such an amazing feeling and I am so glad she got to share that memory with me. Rodney also was there and got to hear the heartbeat, he was so cute! I know he doesn't really understand whats going on, but he sure was cute. I have been trying to sit with him and read stories about siblings, new babies, and of course the what to expect when your expecting book. I have been showing him the pictures of what the baby looks like so that maybe he will start to understand that mommy has another baby growing. I am so afraid that he will be so jealous and not want much to do with me once the baby is born. Hopefully me working with him will help ease some of the jealousy or make it a little easier on both of us. We haven't felt the baby yet, I'm only 11 weeks, but I have him feel my tummy when I show him the pictures. I am excited for when he can feel the baby though so he knows something is in there. We are really excited to start this journey, and hope that everything lasts. Any way, my sister left today, it was really hard for me. I miss my family, its so hard living so far away. But I'm very excited for the next time she gets to come visit! Well I guess that's all I have to say for now!

A long long time ago....

So I know it has been a long time since I updated last, but I have been so busy! My last day of work is on Thursday this week. Then I will be able to stay home and focus on family and school. But I'm not going to lie I will miss work. Well since I was on last there has been a lot happening. Rodney turned 1! We went in for his one year check up and he weighed 21 lbs (20th percentile), height was over 30 inches (75th percentile), and his head was also in the 75th percentile. For his birthday we just had family over and celebrated ducky style, here are a few pictures.

Over the last few weeks we have been to Utah to visit great grandparents. Rodney finally got to meet my dad's mom and dad. It was so nice being able to visit with family and get some good pictures. We also went out to Gooding to visit Ryan's grandparents and got some cute pics. Just thought I would share.

This year for Christmas we spent it with Ryan's family. I got cake decorating stuff, sewing box, pajamas, cake decorating book, some gift cards, new boots, a Christmas cd, more sentsy sents. and Eat, Pray, Love. Ryan got a few gift cards, weights, a heart rate monitor, a tool chest, socks, pajamas, and I can't think of the rest right now. Rodney made out this year! He got his BYU jersey as an early Christmas present from Grandpa, it was for the last BYU game. He got some pajamas, a car that plays music, some cute cute clothes, a new hat, gloves, and shoes for winter, a bouncer, a book that plays music, a phone that lights up, he is always trying to eat mine, a few other toys that light up and play music. Oh and some formula. I must say he was spoiled this year! Then a few days after Christmas my mom sister, brother and his wife came up to visit. It was so nice. Here are a few pictures. I don't have any from Christmas day, unfortunately. They are on my camera and I can't find the chord to get them on the computer. So thanks Cass for taking these.

A Lot has been going on lately. It has been way to busy to even think about blogging.
I went back to work at the beginning of October. I know, very sad! But its not so bad. I miss my boys, but hopefully by the next one I can be a stay at home mom. I have also been doing a lot of hair lately. It has been so nice.
Rodney goes to the doctor in 2 days and we will find out his stats. He is getting so big! Last time we went to the doc he was almost 13lbs and 21 inches long. He isn't chubby really he is very tall though. He has to wear some 6 month clothes cause he is to tall. His hair is finally coming in we spike it up, it looks so cute! We also finally finished his room!!! I have pics but I can't find the cord for the camera to get them on here so i will put some on asap. I love his room! It is so cute!
Ryan started his new job. He is a jailer at a jail near by. He loves his job, but someday he would like to work for idaho state police. He will be going to POST probably next fall. They have several people going and He has to wait his turn. Till then he will be working getting as many hours as possible.

HE IS HERE!!!!
We finally had him on July 16, 2010, at 4:21 pm, Rodney Lyman Dixon. After 22 hours of labor and 1 hour and 11 mins of pushing we finally got to meet our son. Here is the story.... On Tuesday the 13 I went in for my regular check up, i told the doc that he wasn't moving around like normal he has been a little more calm than normal so he did a few tests then told me the amniotic fluid level was low, 7.3, so they wanted to check me again on thursday. So I went in on thursday after work, I worked from 4 am to 130 pm, i went in and they did an ultra sound and the levels went down to 5.2, they said they don't like it to get below 5, so he scraped my membranes and stretched me out, I know it sounds about as good as it felt. About 20 mins later I started having contractions about 10-15 mins apart. They told me to go home and get out stuff and come back to be induced. So at 5 Ryan and I went in they induced me. at about 7 the contractions started getting stronger about 5 mins apart, at about 9 they got closer about 2 mins apart. I had contractions about 1.5-2 mins apart. and i was still only dialated to a 1.5, we tried everything from walking, which is hard when your contracting so close, shower, the body ball, and getting on my hands and knees, nothing was working to dialate me. At about 7am on the 16 I finally dialated to a 2.5 so the nurse came in and stretched me to a 3 so i could finally get an epidural, so I got that and they put me on pitocin, my contractions were about 1 min apart and they were really strong, they started to get to strong for Rodney and so they put me on o2 and slowed it a bit, At about 1 I started to get really worried so I told my husband I wanted a blessing. So john, my brother-in-law and Ryan gave me a blessing, at this time i was only a 4. 2 hours later the nurse came in checked me one more time and said its time to start pushing. So 1 hour and 11 mins later Rodney joined us in the world. I shoulda asked for a priesthood blessing earlier it might have gone a little faster. It is amazing the power of the Priesthood. I am so blessed to have a husband who is able to hold it, and who supports me and loves me. He was such a team player, and kept me so calm when I was freaking out. Here are a few pictures.

Yard Clean Up Day!

First things first, WE GOT A NEW COUCH!!!! We love it! It is so comfy!

Next, Today Ryan and I cleaned up the yard, we pulled weeds, trimmed a tree, fixed the garden, mowed the lawn and I planted my flower pots! Here are some pictures.

We have lots of columbines, they are so pretty! This one did so much better than last year!

We trimmed this tree, it was so big you could barely see the underneath, It looks so much better! Now if we could keep the dog out of the day lillies.

Here is our garden, its doing ok, corn is growing slowly, potatoes are kickin butt, and we have tomatoes, watermelon, pumpkins, peppers, onions, beats, green beans, and grapes.

Our strawberries are also doing awesome thanks a large part to all the rain! We have some red ones coming on

This plant started growing in our blackberry bush its really pretty and smells like lilacs.

I love these plants but we can't figure out what they are, they are kinda viney, and have purple flowers on them in the spring time.

So for Ryans Birthday I got him a canoe! He has been wanting one forever! Its an old town 14 I believe, anyway so 2 weeks ago when it was still cold outside, Here is our conversation.
Ryan: Would you like to go sit in our canoe with me and pretend its warm enough to go canoeing.
Me: Only if by some miracle it got warm outside
10 mins later ryan comes back with these beautiful, ha ha, coverals.
Me: what are you doing
Ryan: Oh just seeing if these will fit you.
So he has me put them on and zips it up, it fit everywhere except the belly
Me: so now what?
Ryan takes my hand and takes me outside to the canoe. He made me warm! It wasn't quite a miracle but it was so funny! So here we are in the back yard training for our "real" canoe trip this weekend. Jack Pot here we come!

Pregnacy update!

So these past 29 and a half weeks have gone by so fast! But now it seems like it is taking forever!
Today My mother-in-law and I painted the baby's room. It went really fast, but It looks so good! Its not finished yet, but as soon as we are done I will post a few pictures. Our peanut is no longer a peanut, though i still like to call him that he is over 2 lbs now, and still growing.
i finally got to the point where I look pregnant, instead of just chubby. and Im definitely feeling pregnant now. The hips, back, ribs, and feet are now feeling it as well. But its all so worth it to feel him hic up, and move around. I love our Lil Boy, and I can't wait wait for him to be here!

We are getting super excited! We are getting so much done and prepared for us and the baby!
This last weekend my parents and brother came over and helped redo our bathroom, it looks so good! unfortunatly we didn't get a before picture with the tub in so ill take some of it torn up. It was put in in 1975. It needed to be replaced. So we tore it out tiled it, tore out the floor, painted the walls and now we are just finishing the grout. I will take pictures when we are all finished. (hopefully this weekend).
We also went to the doctor today, the baby's heart beat is very strong! The only thing wrong is my iron, grr. So i get to take my fun iron pills. Lately I feel like a drug store, between the Prenatals, DHA, Folic Acid, and baby Asprin, and now Iron. But so long as i have a strong healthy baby I will take what I need to. We will also find out what the baby is on March 11 Yahoo 5 weeks away!

Its about time!

So after the long wait, Ryan and I can finally tell people we are having a baby! We will be 12 weeks tomorrow! It has been such an exciting, curious, and hopefull time. We found out in November and didn't want to tell anyone because of what happened last time. So we kept it to ourselves. In December we shared it with our families, who are all so excited! My mom im sure is so excited to be at the 12 week mark so she can tell her friends too.
I finally got over all the morning sickness, so far, and hopefully it stays that way. I will be in my 2nd trimester soon, and im hoping to feel the baby move sometime soon, but I know I have to be patient.
Ryan and I are so excited to be blessed with this opportunity to raise a wonderful child of our Heavenly Father. Our due date is July 23rd, I know we still have a very long ways to go!
We are trying to take it day by day and enjoy our time together before the baby comes as well as learn things about our baby. Each week we read the progress for that week of how our baby is doing. Its so neat to be able to learn what it is doing each day.

more fall and winter updates

I know it has been a long time since my last blog however it seems i have been so caught up in life i haven't had the time. In November i switched positions at the hospital to phlebotomy in the lab. It is so much fun i have been working like crazy though. Mostly 330 in the mornings. I know so early. But i love it! I have learned so much!
I will fill you in on things starting with most recent
We put up our christmas tree last week, and decorated for christmas. Ryan got christmas lights and put them up but we didn't get enough we only got half the front of the house done. and now its snowing and freezing! its about 4 degrees now. its so cold! Im not ready for this. Leaving 10 mins earlier and getting out 20 mins earlier to warm up the car.

I think it was the beginning of October We butchered a cow. Warning does show pics of meat!
Thanks to Connie and Reese, ryans mom and dad, we got about 300 lbs of meet for our freezer for christmas. A quarter of a cow. It is so nice, and we decided to add some of my deer meat to some of the hamburger to make the deer meat taste a little better. Ryan got to help cut it up, and i helped package it. It was a fun day.

and last we were so sick of our carpet we got rid of it. finally we have been wanting to for a while. so we ripped it out and put in laminate wood flooring. it was a lot of work and still haven't completely finished but are planning on it in the next few weeks. here is what it looks like so far.

oh one last thing, as some of you know we lost our dog cedar, the red one, it is really sad. Ryan took him out hunting and Cedar ran off, he never returned so now we only have 1 dog Butch. That is our only bad news of the month.

I got my deer!

here is my first deer! Got it in Richfield idaho yesterday. Its a 4 point, nice big buck. i shot it in the neck and started going down! We didn't have to chase it at all! I stood there for a min and then ryan and adam started freaking out! They couldn't believe it! At first we thought it was just a spike then as we got closer we saw 3 points then 4! Ryan was so excited he was shaking so bad! I think any other deer that were around left quick from our cheering! It was awesome! what a neat experience!

Finally we got a computer! Yahoo were so excited! So now i can update you. I have lots of pictures from summer. Perfect time to do it, now that its fall. So here goes.

Well this weekend we went hunting. We drove around for hours with Andrew, one of Ryans friends, We got so close to some deer But Ryan just couldn't get them. I think we are done with this bow hunting thing. We are rifle hunting people. But I dunno we will see, i still don't have a computer but I will post pics when i get one. Hopefully soon!

Well, after a few weeks of not posting im back! We had so much fun! First on July 11, we were sealed in the Twin Falls Temple, that was such a neat experience, its so nice to know that we are now an eternal family!
Second, We went to Alaska, that was so much fun! We went on a cruise, what a way to go. Our first stop was Ketichikan, that was our favorite! We went fishing, I caught 2 silver salmon, 2 pink salmon, and 2 king salmon, we had to release the king cuz they weren't big enough. The first silver i caught was the biggest out of our group at between 8 and 10 lbs, I was so proud of myself. Ryan caught 6 pink salmon. he had so much fun. The people who took us out pretty much offered him a job. He helped put the line out to depth and pull it in when it needed to and he watched the other lines while other people were catching theirs. He really wants to move up there for the summer live on a boat and do tours all summer then we will come back here for the winter. But that won't be for a long time if we decided to do that.
Our next stop was Juno. We went on an adventure hike. It was so beautiful We got to see lots of different plants and animals. We walked on the ground where a glacier was decades ago, It was so neat. We got to the very top of the mountain and were able to see a beautiful glacier and waterfall, then when we got to the bottom we got to see them both up close, we were so close to it. After we took a potty break, we went down a path and saw a bear picking fish out of the stream, it was so cool, it started walking around and got within 6-7 feet of us. Ryan was so excited! Then on our way back to the bus we saw a mama bear and her two cubs. They were so cute, no more than a year old. It was by far one of the coolest things I have ever seen in nature. Before we got on the boat we enjoyed a nice walk through the town. It was a beautiful town, but I don't think i would like it there as much. To many people, they weren't as friendly as the people in the first town.
The third town we stopped at was Skagway. That was more of our shopping day. We went out and bought some suveniers. Ryan got a knife, a really cool one, I got a pair of fur house shoes, they are so cute, warm and compfy. I will really enjoy them this winter. Then we got a few little odds and ends. We walked around the town took lots of pictures. I was a cute little town a train town, We were asking some of the people there what its like in the winter, that town is like a ghost town in the winter compared to the summer. They said they get about 2-3 ships every day of the week except saturday and sunday and sometimes fridays are more slow. But you figure 2,000 people per ship, plus or minus a few, at 2-3 ships a day, thats between 4 and 6000 people a day walking through your store. Then a lot of the workers there are only there for the summer months then go somewhere else in the winter. It was very interesting to hear about that.
Our last stop was Victoria, we didn't get off the boat, instead we played shuffle board, cards, ate, and then went to a night club. We had so much fun! The boat also had something called movies under the stars, that was neat, we got to lay out by the pool and watch movies on a huge screen. They had madascar 2 one day, then confessions of a shopaholic, twilight, bolt, and several others. It was so relaxing. We got to see Whales, dolfins, seals, and the coolest was bald eagles, bald eagles everywhere. We really enjoyed the cruise, but next time, if there is a next time, We are going to fly up there and spend sometime back packing and hiking some more.
Now its back to reality, cooking, cleaning, making my own bed, work, yeah not so much fun! But I sure love my life. Hope all is well with everyone! Enjoy the rest of the summer while you can falls comming up fast! Yahoo!!!

9 Days and counting!!!

So Ryan and I celebrated our one year!! yahoo, that was one long year. ha ha jk. We went to Lagoon, that was kinda fun, not what i expected though. I will have to post pictures later, but we went on a few rides and i got a little sick so we ate some lunch then went to Lagoona Beach. When we got in the water it was so cold i couldn't breath, so i just went down the slide then layed out, while Ryan and Ethan played in the water. Then he took me around the lazy river a few times. It was nice. After we were done we layed down for a few mins, well a few mins turned into like an hour. We fell asleep!! Yeah maybe thats why we were nauseous, we were exhausted. When we woke up I was feeling so much better. So then mom and i rode the rocket, and Ryan and I rode wicked a few times and the spider he loved them. Then we decided we had enough and went back to the hotel and slept for another 9 hours then went home. All in all it was a good trip!
So we have a few more exciting things coming up i wanted to share. Ryan and I are getting Sealed in the Twin Falls Temple on July 11th. We are so excited and proud of where we are now!
Then on the 17th we are going to Seattle and setting off for an Alaskan Cruise. I dunno what Ryans more excited for the week off from work, or Fishing in Alaska. He is so Sick of work right now any break will do. But I think he will really like this one. Any way, hope all is well.

Its been so long since i was on last. I can't believe how fast time is flying. Its already summer. On the 28th Ryan and i will have been married a year. Oh how time flies. Were getting sealed on July 11 so thats exciting, except i forgot to ask for it off on time so i got scheduled to work on that day. Don't worry ill fix it. After that were so excited to go on our cruise. Were going to alaska with my family. exciting!!! Any way thats all thats new with us. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Well here i am sitting at work in the nice air conditioned hospital, I dread coming to work. but sometimes it seems better than trying to cool myself off at home. Ryan and i finally decided it was time to get an ac. It is so hot in the house. I can't believe it. it is going to be really nice this weekend too. maybe ryan and i will go camping or hiking for the 3 day weekend we have. yahoo!!!! Any way. In case you can't tell im kinda bored here at work. The phone isn't ringing yet, and im dispatching today so there is really nothing to do. I don't know if i told anyone about it, but i got a new calling in the ward im in charge of the ward bulletin. yahoo how exciting! ha ha. Its actually not to bad, but in case you didn't know my computer isn't really set up for that kinda thing. ha ha ha.. any way.. hope all is well!
Oh another thing, i started my job at the salon last thursday.. so far im loving it! Im so happy i was able to get the job there. it just goes to prove all good things are worth waiting for!!

So last night Ryan and I took this great class. It is for a concealed weapons permit. It was so interesting. I learned so much. We figured that we should take it so that while were going hunting we don't get pulled over and get introuble for having a gun in the car and not having a permit. There was a guy arrested for that just last week. I figure it is better to be safe than sorry. But i learned a lot! I highly recomend this class for everyone!! Especially Women. Now days you don't know what kinda stuff is going to happen to you even just walking out of the theater. Any way, it is only 120 dollars per person for the class and permit! Check it out asap!!!

Well just for all your information, were doing well. Just working hard, staying busy. Last week i got bored and I only worked one day so i decided to paint one of the rooms in the house. The guest bedroom use to be pink with big pink flower wall paper, it drove Ry and I nuts!!! So I took all the wall paper down and re painted the whole room. It is so cute!!! It still has Ryans touch to it where he gets to hang some of his stuff on the wall. It looks so good when i get a chance to put the pictures from my camera onto the internet i will post some. I painted creamy white on the higher part of the wall and on the lower half i painted a light green and put a chair rail around it. I am so proud of myself that was such a big project, i took it on and did all 3 coats of paint i had to do cuz the pink was so strong. It was an awesome experience for me. Any way i hope all you are doing well out there. This is my weekend off so yahoo, time to go brand cows! Thats right Cows, Ryan is going with his dad today to get more cows. We are getting 2 of them. Its kinda cool. Any way. Hope you all have a good day!

Well i would just like to let everyone know, the rumors are true!!! Ryan and I are having a baby. It was very unexpected, but I guess our Heavenly Father thought it was time. We are very excited! Ryan is already going through his stuff trying to make room. He is so cute! We go to the doctor friday for our first ultrasound, and so far our due date is Nov 18.

Well just an update!! Luckily, my pants cleaned up nicely!!!!! all the chocolate milk came out of it!! my day went so much better, i went home and spent the rest of the day with my lovely hubby!!!!

So today has been very interesting!! First i got up at 430 this morning so i could be at work by 600. everything went fine till i got to work. I went to have breakfast and nothing looked good, it all kinda made me sick to smell the cafeteria food. so i just got chocolate milk. So we went up to the break room for breakfast and what happens? I spill chocolate milk all over my brand new cream pants!!! It was so sad!!! Now i hope they don't stain. Well i couldn't walk around the hospital with half brown spotted pants, it might look disgusting, so now i have to wear blue scrub bottoms with my blue top. I look like one giant blue berry! Then i go down stairs and im running around, i get a drink of ice cold water and spill it all over me! wow what a lucky day! We will see what else happens to me, ill keep you updated!

Well this weekend i went to my parents and i went snow boarding! It was so much fun! i still have a lot of learning to do but it is nice! It is so relaxing. Well any way saturday was such a nice day that. the snow was perfect! Josh, Cassi, Ethan and i went. we enjoyed each others company so much! any way. I didn't think about wearing sun block, its been cold and the sun hasn't been shining as much up here in jerome, so i didn't think about it. well when i woke up the next day my face was about this red!!!

Ryan didn't come with us he was a bum and wanted to go hunting instead! He shoulda come with us. But that was the longest i had ever been away from him, it was so weird. but its nice to be home. So Sorry i haven't been on for a while, Its been a few weeks since my last one. We are doing well, A few weeks ago We went to visit my grandma and grandpa Breck, that was so much fun! We went shooting and had a bbq and just had a good time catching up. It was nice! i would love to do it again soon!! I wish i lived closer to family. I sure do miss them. But any way. Ryan is going hunting this weekend with one of his friends, he is so excited about it! any way!! Utah here i come! Im going to visit my family again this weekend while Ryan is hunting

On monday of last week i took my cosmetology test for idaho, yesterday i got my results back, I passed both the practical, 90, and written, 81, That was awesome for me because i haven't been in school for 3 years now. And since the week before i had that surgery i was ground to the couch by Ryan I spent most of my time studying, in 2 days i spent 18 hours. Thats a lot for me. So yahoo for me, Im going to apply at some salons, but for now keep my job at the hospital. Its where i get my insurance and Its a for sure source of income. So Hopefully it will all work out.
Ryan and I are doing well. We didn't do anything special for Valentines day. I had to work. How Boring. But oh well, thats ok. We know we love each other.
Our dogs are getting so big, they just keep growin on us. Its not right. I want them to stay small forever! Cedar has tamed down a lot, but Butch on the other hand has not. He is wild!!! We bought them a rope the other day, and they were going crazy over it. We did it all wrong though. We only got one thinking they would play together, Butch took it and ran across the yard with it and wouldn't let Cedar get it so we threw out a tied up sock and Cedar got it then thats all that Butch wanted, so our plan didn't really work out. But thats ok, It was fun and we enjoyed watching them.

Well my surgery went well, I had a tumor removed, no worries, it is benign. Im feeling great! Back to work, just working hard. I dunno about the hospitals around but we are so busy!!! It has been crazy here. I have been running around pretty much the whole day.
On monday i took my state board test for cosmetology, for Idaho, hopefully i passed i will find out next week. Since i had my surgery, i just stayed home and studied. It was nice i got 18 hours of studying in, in a 2 day period. any way.
We are doing well, just working hard, Ryan has to get over time for the next little bit. Which is good for the check.

Well i also cut my hair....

So for my birthday i got a sewing machine! i was so excited! but i can't believe ryan got it for me! It is a way nice one! any way, then i hat chocolate zucinni cake, ryans parents brought it over for me. It was so good! We watched the biggest loser then went to bed.

Well, this month has gone by so slowly I wish it would just end. I can't wait for my pampered chef party on the 31 if any one needs anything let me know. It will be so much fun! Then on the 3rd of feb im having my first surgery yahoo! That will be exciting.. jk. but something to look forward to! So things with ryan and i are great! were sick of the snow but were getting by. Ryan and i seem to both be getting a lot of hours at work and are so blessed to be able to have good jobs and hours. My parents came up last weekend to visit us and not only did they bring up a bed set, but they brought up everything else that was mine. Now the chore is cleaning the jinormous mess.
Thats ok, it is nice on my days off im able to go through the piles of junk and send some to di and think back on the good ol times of growing up. All my baton stuff. Wow i forgot how many medals and trophies i got from there. Winning Ms Fiesta Bowl Queen was definatly on my top 2! Its been nice, Ryans mom has been doing the same thing, everytime we go over to his moms house we bring a truck load of stuff home. I got to look through some of his old stuff and get to know him a little better, some of the things he did as a kid, as a teen, and some of his mission, there were lots of pictures for me to look through.
He has so many toys, some of which we have decided to keep for someday when we have children and some are so special that we keep them for him like his ertles and others like his cabbage batch doll went to nieces and nephews.
ok so great story, last week, i was going through the stuff in my scrapbooking room and decided to take a shelf down, they were held up by these. so asyou can guess they made big holes in the
wall, so what did i do. patched them up. yeah, thats right, i used the putty stuff and filled the hole in the wall, and put the tape thing that looks like netting over it and whalla it looks so good! can't even tell it was there, other than the big white spot on the wall, and no texture. i had to call my dad a few times for advice, but i did it all by my self, next painting that room, its a hideous color of blue, time to change it, maybe next year. mine is better than the guests room, it has pink all over the walls and flowered wallpaper. Oh well, that will come with time. So i guess i better get back to work or at least watching the biggest loser, thats a great show! i love it. any way, hope all is well!!

So there hasn't really been anything too exciting happening lately, but i just wanted to say, Im so excited!!! its getting warmer, the only down to that is that the snow is melting, no more snow boarding :( Ryan and i went on Sat, it was so much fun, till i fell and hit my head really hard! it hurt so bad, then ryan cut me off and i hit my head into his shoulder, that was the end of my snowboarding trip but all around it was fun. then we walked back to our car and we saw our keys in the ignition we were so excited that we were finally going that we locked our keys in the car.. wow what a trip!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone had Great Holidays. I can't believe its 2009!! It's Crazy!! Well We had a wonderful Christmas. We spent the first few days with Ryans family, That was fun, we played the Celestial couples game or something like that. it was to see how well you knew your partner. it was so much fun, then the day after christmas we were going to go to my parents house, well thats a little tough when the roads are so bad and they are closed! it was annoying! So we were going to go snowboarding on sat instead. But when we woke up that morning Ryan was listening to the news and they said the road was open so we thought we would give it a try and see if we could make it and surprise my family. sure enough we were succesful! and oh my we had so much fun! Have you ever played Survivor? Well you should it was so much fun! there were about 10 of us playing i think. It was awesome! Then we had to drive home sunday. Oh well it was fun if even for a day.
Then New Years, Ryan was sick, So he said oh i don't think ill make it till midnight. So we went over to his sisters house so i wasn't alone, that wouldn't have been fun, so we watched goonies and started the return of superman that was fun, till i fell asleep, i couldn't even make it. So at 1158 i got a message from my mom that woke me up! i got to see the ball drop. but my poor hubby didn't feel good so he was asleep when we started the new year. Well thats about all for now. Im at work, oh don't we all just love work. I guess its not so bad when you get to sit at a desk waiting for someone to call you. but oh well.. Just want to say Happy New Year! I hope its better or as good as 2008!

Crazy weekend!!!

Well this has been one crazy weekend. On friday i worked till 11, so ryan stayed home, and then saturday we went Christmas shopping, The stores were crazy!!! It was so busy! i must say, don't ever go shopping 4 days before Christmas!!!! Not even 3 or 2 or even the day before!!! So we decided that we would stay home all day sunday and not do a thing.. well so much for that! we went to Church and after sacrament the bishop told us all to go home that is was gonna be to bad for everyone to stay here, and drive home. So ryan and i went home, by then it was 11 am, it didn't look bad outside at all. It was windy but that was about it. So about 1245 we went over to Gooding to ryans moms house and by the time we got there, it was snowing and blowing, about 545, it was a blizzard!! It was crazy,

This was when we first got there, at about 315 ish, In between 315 and 645 when we went over to ryans friends house it had snowed about 4 inches, it was so bad driving back we didn't know if we were driving on the road or off, We ended up having to stay in Gooding for the night. The wind was blowing so bad that we had bad snow drifts. So the next morning ryan and i both had to go to work, ryan normally gets up at 430 so we got up and had to clear the driveway, his moms driveway is really long, luckily they have a snow blower, so we got up cleaned that off with in 2 hours it was already filling up. it was crazy, when i took a picture of the same place the next morning at 730 this is what it looked like

notice the picnic table almost burried. we got about a foot and a half, when i got home it was just as bad if not worse, we had to literally dig out my car it was crazy!! I didn't make it to work that day and Ryan almost had to spend the night in Hailey, cuz the roads up that way were so bad!

This is outside the door to my house, It was so packed with snow and the door was frozen shut, i thought i was gonna break the handle just trying to get it open.

So thats our crazy story, oh and on top of it Jerome only has like 1 snow plow if any so the roads didn't get clear till way later that day, and wouldn't you know it all the snow from the street ended up in front of the driveway i just cleared! more work for me, luckily someone saw how bad it was and decided to get their tractor and clear it up.

Oh my i can't believe how fast the weather changes, Its kinda a pain in the hiney.. but thats ok. We went from it being cold and windy to snowy and windy and freezing, like 7 degrees its so cold! luckily ryan and i have a wood stove to keep us warm, its so nice just heat that up and it warms up the house and saves on the gas bill. its nice.
The cold outside is really effecting us bad. with ryan working construction he is outside and its cold. And with me working at the preschool the kids can't go outside. so there bundled up inside all day, well im sure you know how that goes, 12, 20 month year olds, cooped up in a small room, it gets crazy fast, someone biting someone, and someone hitting someone, and a few crying for mom. wow i can't wait till it warms up some. We can finally go out and let them play get all their energy out!!!
Also our puppies aren't such puppies any more, there growing up.. Im not ready for them to, i wish it was warmer so we could train them, and spend more time with them, and i could cuddle with them just a few more times. when butch was little he was such a lap sitter, he would come up to me sit on my lap and just lay there and fall asleep and look at me he was so content. Now the just run around and butch is way to big to sit on my lap any more. And cedar has gained so much weight that he wont sit on my lap, but there still fun to play with.
We finally put our christmas tree up! yeah its fake, but its so cute! Its so exciting
when you have your firsts as a married couple! First Christmas, we went out and got our stockings! its so exciting! Well hope all is well, have a good week!!!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here!!! Its hard to believe, and its so wonderful to know I get to spend it with my Amazing family on all sides!!! Its an amazing feeling that im so greatful i get to have.
Well our dog Cedar is doing better, lots better!!! For those who didn't know our dog got parvo, and to get him better it was going to cost about 300 dollars and there wasn't even a guarintee that he would live. So my wonderful husband Injected him with some meds, and went out every 30 mins and squirted water in his mouth and then made him a doggie shake that way he was getting some nutrients in him. And 2 days ago he started acting normal again! He is running and playing and is getting chubbier, our pup is doing so much better!
We have so much to be thankful for at this time and always!!

We are new at this but family is getting on so we figured we might as well!
Just a little backround on us, Ryan went to CSI for the HVAC program and finished, then he served a full time mission to Canada. He came home this February and met me, Tasha, 2 weeks later. Our friend Monica set us up on a blind date and it was the best date i have ever been on. We immediatly clicked and were married on June 28, 2008. We are both working right now. He is doing Heating and air, and i am working at the hospital in transport and also teaching at a preschool, I love both my jobs and the people i work with.
We recently bought a home in Jerome Its so cute! We have had fun decorating and cleaning it up!
We love the new additions to our family, Butch and Cedar, they are the 2 cuttest hound dogs! We are having so much fun with them. Ryan would like to train them to take them hunting!
